The European Circular Innovation Valley (ECIV) has announced the launch of its first call for projects dedicated to circular innovation, targeting European companies, researchers and public-sector stakeholders.
The call aims to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy by supporting collaborative, interregional projects that connect regions, industries and research organisations around circular solutions that are ready for market deployment. With a total budget of €9.13 million, the call will fund projects transforming key industrial value chains – including construction, textiles, plastics and bio-based materials – and demonstrating measurable environmental and economic benefits. Each project may receive between €500,000 and €3 million in funding, with a maximum of €600,000 per partner. Normandy is the only French region participating in the European Circular Innovation Valley initiative, alongside pilot areas in Navarre, Scotland, North Holland and Central Sweden.

- Companies, universities, research organisations, local authorities and third-sector organisations
- Stakeholders based in the European Union and the United Kingdom
- Consortia of at least three independent entities from three different countries, including at least two partners from the five ECIV pilot areas.
- The participation of at least one company is compulsory in each consortium
